suspension of through traffic, from the 7th November to

the 14th December, 1911, in consequence of the Chinese rebellion, and also to the lateness of trains.

I am informed that these claims have been settled, through the British Minister in Peking, by the acceptance from the Chinese Government of the sum of $5608.41.

A few questions of minor importance in

connection with the accounts of 1912 still await final

settlement.
